I am Sonia Tomanova, a speech and language therapist in Blagoevgrad. I hold a master’s degree in Speech Therapy from South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (2022) and am certified in the Montessori method for children with special needs. I work with children and young people, by phone appointment, Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 19:00.
I work with children and young people - unclear speech, stuttering, delayed speech and language development. With children with special educational needs - autism, pervasive developmental disorder, hyperactivity and attention deficit - I work on communication: the child understanding, and being understood. The diagnosis itself stays with the specialist who made it: I do not make it, confirm it or overturn it.
