Questions and answers
If two languages are spoken at home, does that delay speech?
Bilingualism does not delay speech and does not cause a speech disorder. Children growing up with two languages pass through the same stages as everyone else. Do not give up the language you speak most naturally with your child. What a child needs is a lot of language, not a particular language.

Children with special educational needs
At my practice in Blagoevgrad I work on communication with children with autism, pervasive developmental disorder, hyperactivity and attention deficit. The diagnosis stays with the specialist who made it. I am certified in the Montessori method for children with special needs. Appointments are booked by phone, Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 19:00.
